A Decade of Iowa Patience

Templeton Rye 10 Year Whiskey is the premium aged expression from Iowa’s most legendary distillery a whiskey that takes the bold, spicy character of Templeton’s high-rye mash bill and gives it a full decade in new American oak to develop extraordinary depth, complexity, and refinement. Where the 4 Year is approachable and vibrant, the 10 Year is contemplative and profound a rye that rewards patience with layer upon layer of caramel, dried fruit, and warming spice that only extended barrel aging can produce.

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Rich and complex dark caramel, dried fruit, and a warm rye spice with layers of vanilla, toasted oak, and a subtle sweetness that speaks to a full decade of maturation
• Palate: Full and layered rye bread, dark toffee, and a building pepper spice with a silky mouthfeel and a depth of aged barrel character that builds beautifully across the palate
• Finish: Long and dignified with lingering spice, dried fruit, and a warm, clean oak fade
