The Stories the Casks Tell

Laphroaig The Cask Lore is a whisky born from the distillery’s most treasured cask archive a collection of rare and exceptional barrels that have been quietly maturing on Islay, each one accumulating its own story over the years. Master Distiller John Campbell selected a combination of quarter casks, ex-bourbon barrels, and virgin oak casks to create an expression of extraordinary complexity and depth, one that showcases the full range of what Laphroaig’s legendary peat smoke can become when given time and exceptional wood. The result is a whisky that is simultaneously bold and nuanced Laphroaig at its most layered and rewarding.

Tasting Notes
