Floral, barely ripe strawberry, citrus, and edging toward the white part of the watermelon tang. The ’23 is still suited to poolside quaffing, but it’s not quite as frivolous as past vintages. It has a bit of wet stone grip that gives it a bit more mineral gravitas than other ross I’ve made. So, briefly pause the quaffing to pay a little bit of attention. Then, get right back to it, with abandon.
