Camus has been the largest independent family-owned house dedicated to cognac production since 1863, spanning five generations. Camus has received numerous awards in international spirit competitions, being recognized as one of the best Cognacs in the world.
The CAMUS XO pays tribute to the “Arts de la Table” tradition with its innovative lifetime-use design. This stunning decanter enhances dinner conversations with its intense amber reflections of the cognac inside. The new XO blend exemplifies Camus’ commitment to producing intensely aromatic cognacs, showcasing advanced distillation, finishing, and blending techniques developed over five generations. Distillation:
Distilled with the lees in small pot stills, to extract their aroma-enhancing components. Minimum 10 years old for the youngest batches entering the blend. Matured in lightly toasted, fine-medium grain small French oak cask (capacity 350 litres).

Tasting Notes:
On the nose the CAMUS XO cognac contains savoury aromas of bitter apricot and oranges, as well as notes of exotic fruit and a dash of deep cacao. On the palate, it is first silky with a honey-like texture and an intense florality, a direct result of the Instensity process. Its character then gradually evolves towards spiced and toasted flavors, which come from the finishing process inside re-toasted cognac barrels. Lastly, it leaves with a long and intense finish, full of dark aromas of vanilla and cinnamon, drawn from the cognac’s long maturation inside the oak casks.
