Nestled amongst the rolling hills of the Cotswolds countryside, the Cotswolds Distillery was born in 2014. The founder, Dan,a native New Yorker and whisky connoisseur, had moved to the Cotswolds from London. He saw the fields of golden barley around his house and had a brainwave theres barley all over the Cotswolds and nobodys distilling it, lets be the first!
The whiskyis traditionally made using 100% locally grown, floor-malted barley from the Cotswolds and being distilled twice in the bespoke copper pot stills.
The Peated Cask Single Malt Whisky is part of Cask Expressions Collection, which is aged for full term maturation in ex-peated quarter casks, which are much smaller than the standard whisky cask.

A delightful and moreish cask strength single malt withsubtlehints of peat smoke on the palate which complement the vanilla notes from theoak and the fruitiness of the single malt spirit. Think ‘smoky vanilla ice cream‘, as the distillers like to describe it!
