The Tarkine remains one of the worlds last truly wild places, where ancient Huon Pines rise from the deep wilderness.
This rich and bold expression captures the spirit of Tasmania’s native landscape.
The unique pine aroma of Huon Pine provides a lift to the underlying earthy notes of roasted malt, salted pistachio and stewed apricot.
The palate is like a walk through the temperate rainforest, notes of wet slate mingle with heathery smoke. Sarsaparilla, peppermint and pumpernickel bread remind us of this whisky’s fortified base on the mid and back palate as lingering peat caps off the experience.
