At the heart of the set is Il Brutto Negroamaro Primitivo 2023, crafted from ancient, low-yielding vines in sun-drenched Puglia. Once considered too unprofitable to keep, these heirloom vines were saved by acclaimed winemaker Angelo Maci, who recognised their extraordinary potential. Though their twisted trunks may appear brutto Italian for ugly they produce a magnificently rich and characterful wine.
