Le Sot de L’Ange, which roughly translates to “Idiot Angel”, is the label of Loire farmer and winemaker Quentin Bourse who, in 2013, took over a friend’s estate in Azay-le-Rideau in the Loire Valley’s Touraine region. His vineyards are certified biodynamic and everything in the vineyard and winery is painstakingly done by hand.
