The Gimonnets have been winegrowers since the mid-18th century. At that time, they delivered their grapes to wine merchants and their first wines were released around 1935. Since then, the estate has grown to 28 hectares of Chardonnay in the Cte des Blancs, with plots in the Premiers Crus Cuisus and Vertus and in the Grands Crus Cramant, Chouilly, and Oger. Passionate winemakers, lovers of their terroirs and precise blenders, they strive to give each cuve its particular expression. To this end, each wine is vinified plot by plot, in vats adapted to different volumes. The Gimonnet style is one of elegance, finesse, and minerality.
