LaherteFrres is run by Aurlien Laherte, who has been at the helm of his family estate since 2005. Laherte Frreswas founded in 1889 in the village of Chavotin the CoteauxSud D’Epernay, and over the generations the vineyard holdings have slowly grown to 10.5 hectares, always with an emphasis on allowing full terroir expression in the wines through careful farming. Aurlien farms 7 hectares biodynamically and certified organic, with the other vineyardsfarmed uncertified organic or, at minimum, sustainably. Under Aurlien’s leadership,LaherteFreres hasbegun to produce a series of single vineyard and single vintage cuvesvinified in Burgundy barrels without malolactic fermentation and bottled without fining or filtration.

Organic farming and 30 months of lees aging. This chalky and richly textured Blanc de Blancs offers a powerful expression of fruit. Rich, dense, and complex, with notes of citrus rind, brioche, stone fruit, and chalk, and a bright, lemony acidity. Low dosage keeps this wine racy.
