Producer Information

Family property since 1890. It is currently operated by the 6th generation, Christophe MOTHES and his mother Sylvie, since 1998. Chteau Genlaire, a manor house typical of the Bordeaux landscape, stands in the middle of a few hectares of rather unique vines for the region. . The fortified church of Saint Hilaire, adorned with very beautiful capitals, has protected this vineyard for several decades. The enthusiasm and know-how of the different generations have made it possible to renew and modernize this exploitation, to today reach a vineyard of about thirty hectares producing quality wines.
