“Lay back and get comfortable with the 2022 Grand Cote. It is a delightfully balanced style with a tender finesse, filling the mouth with a sense of purity. White it has an almost lacy character, theres no absence of substance or structure. Its restrained aromatically with delicate violets, florals, nectarine flavors and a distinct stony character. It draws out on the long, chalky, almost sinew-like finish. A delight to drink now, but knowing Cotat, theres no hurry to pull the cork.”

Winemaker Notes:

“Facing full south, La Grande Cte is indeed grand, with its sweeping yellow fruits and its profound depth. Here soils are almost exclusively chalk, the same vein that runs through Chablis which means energy, precision and verve.Aromas of yellow stone fruits, citrus, light smoke, wildflowers. Poached pear, candied quince; hints of anise.“
