James Suckling, 93 Points

“Blueberries, dark plums, tea leaves and crushed rocks on the nose with a touch of manuka honey. Its full-bodied, firm and compact. Solid tannin frame. Lots of juicy black fruit, but still tightly wound. Drink from 2025.“

Decanter, 92 Points

“Bright, juicy, and firm with chalky tannins, this wine surprises with boldness. Youthful notes of cherries and wildflowers emerge. Though austere and tight, its lively, crunchy palate promises potential, marked by refreshing oak spice.“

Vinous, 91 Points

“The 2022 Malbec Q hails from Paraje Altamira and Los Chacayes in the Uco Valley and was 50% aged for ten months in used French oak barrels. Purple in the glass. The aromas include crushed plum, violets and herbs. Dry and juicy, the supple, chalky tannins and measured acidity make for a balanced, rewarding wine. This is a primary red done in the house’s no-nonsense style.“

Winemaker Notes:

“Deep purple color, with bluish hues. Intense red fruits and flowers aromas, such as roses and violets. Herbal notes. Soft and silky entry, great structure, acidity that provides freshness and mineral texture. Long finish.“

Alcohol: 13.9%
