“Petals. Pink florals. White peaches. The fruit on the front and mid palate is soft, but it does a drawstring manoeuvre on the finish and tightens up considerably, to a pinch. Apple-skins texture. Great drive.“Tasted by Tamlyn Currin,

Wine: This dry Riesling is vibrant and expressive, with a firm, grippy structure and a refined yeasty character. A full-bodied, harmonious acidity underpins its fine, creamy texture, while a long, lingering finish and intense aromatic profile mark it as a wine of real depth. With excellent ageing potential, it promises to evolve beautifully over time.

Style & Maturation: As a VDP.Ortswein, this Riesling sits proudly between approachable estate wines and the more concentrated single-vineyard bottlings. Sourced exclusively from the Winkler vineyards of Hasensprung and Gutenberg, its character reflects the strength of the loam and loess-rich soils. Spontaneously fermented and matured for eleven months on the lees in large 2,400L Doppelstck oak barrels, the wine exudes complexity, structure, and a bold sense of place.

Vineyard: The fruit is drawn from 2540-year-old vines rooted in the renowned sites of Winkler Hasensprung and Gutenbergsoils known for producing wines with structure and longevity.

Perfect Pairing: A standout match for seafood pasta or a fresh salad topped with seared fillet strips.
