Matured in charred bourbon casks

Non-chill filtered

For weeks, there had been an unexplained, perplexing hissing sound coming from the Distillery

The mythical serpent Beithir had returned, silently weaving through our precious casks and leaving behind a swaying warehouse and an aromatic ambush.

Ardbeg Anthology: The Beithirs Tale 15 Years Old, the final release in the legendary Anthology Collection, is a rare expression matured in designer charred bourbon casks an ultimate embodiment of Ardbegs bold character.

Air-seasoned, heavily toasted, then lightly charred, these casks impart intense aromas of vanilla and smoked butter. Sweet lemon balsam entwines with smoked mandarins, fennel and pine, revealing a rich and layered profile. The finish is long and lingering, a truly rare breed of malt that captures both mystery and mastery.
