This beer pours a hazy light golden colour, with a fluffy white head. There is a good amount of yeast sediment present. As you flip thetop of the swing-top bottle, the first hints of hops are released. Grassy, floral notes, along with gentle spicing, banana andbready malts. Despite all the hops, it is not as hop-driven as you might expect. It sits comfortably between a strong blond ale, and a Belgian IPA. There are sweet malts up front, balanced quickly by the bitternessand spicing from the five types of hops used. There is a crispnessto the beer, aided by the good level of carbonation. The beer finishes nice and dry, with a pleasant lingering slightlybitter aftertaste.
