Sustainable winegrowing. The steep slope of the vineyard calls for all pruning, green harvest and fruit harvest to be done by hand. De-stemmed and crushed before being put into stainless steel vats for alcoholic fermentation and a long 20 day maceration, at temperatures of 28-30C. The malolactic fermentation is followed by 12 months minimum maturation in oak barrels of two and three wines. 28-30C 20 2 3 12 |
| Tasting Notes |
Elegance and Grand Character Colour Deep purple. Nose Richly aromatic displaying classic fruity notes of blackberry-raspberry-cassis with a touch of vanilla. The complex bouquet continues with more wild hints of liquorice, warm spices, smoky musk, and a touch of violet. Palate A fine, elegant texture carries the aromas from the nose seamlessly to the palate. The balance between the body and the length demonstrates its supreme finesse. A wine of exceptional longevity (20 years). Food Pairing 17C4 |
