Bruichladdich (‘brook-LADDIE’) Distillery, from Islay (‘EYE-la’), the famed island off of the West Coast of Scotland, is well known to most Scotch whisky fans around the world and particularly revered here at Hi-Time, where Bruichladdich, Rmy Cointreau and RNDC, over the years, have worked with us carefully (and often!) to hold regular tastings and events showcasing theseamazing bottlings. Whether peated or unpeated, young or old, theBruichladdich lineup has a baseline qualitythat is always present– these are well-made whiskies done the ‘old school’ way. No chill filtration. No added coloring. They are still using much of the ‘Harvey machinery’ (the original equipment used when the distillery got their start in 1881, set up by the original owners ,the Harvey brothers) to make the whiskies today.
