In 1851, young Charles Heidsieck founded his own Champagne house in Reims and traversed the United States promoting the brand earning him the nickname Champagne Charlie. The Rserve Ros ages in the houses 2,000-year-old chalk cellars in Reims, which give the wine its deep, powerful mouthfeel. Only 60 crus from Champagne are blended for Charles Heidsieck cuves, with three stylistic pillars: Grand Cru Chardonnay from Oger, Grand Cru Pinot Noir from Ambonnay, and distinctive Pinot Meunier from Verneuil.
