Chteau Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande is a winery in the Pauillac appellation of the Bordeaux region of France. The wine produced here was classified as one of fifteen Deuximes Crus (Second Growth) in the original Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855.
James Laub of Wine Spectator has also called the Chteau Pichon, Second Cru First Class, the Chateau is considered as one of the greatest Pauillac. Their high quality wines reveals all its prestige and its class through a complexity, an aromatic richness, a lingering finish and silky tannins that few wines are able to produce.

Tasting Notes:
(Robert Parker’s rating: 97+ points)
Deep garnet-purple colored, it charges out of the gate with bold scents of baked plums, ripe blackcurrants and wild blueberries, followed by hints of cedar chest, pencil lead, bouquet garni and charcuterie, plus a waft of lilacs.
The medium-bodied palate is beautifully crafted with its seamless freshness and firm, grainy tannins supporting the compelling, finely knit black fruits and savory nuances, finishing on a lingering fragrant-earth note. This will need a good 5 years to come around and should easily cellar for another 30 years or more.
