Caillou Blanc is the dry white wine of the Mdoc Grand Cru Class Chteau Talbot. The estate, located in Saint-Julien with more than 100 hectares of vineyards, is one of the most renowned in the Mdoc. In 1917, Chteau Talbot was acquired by Dsir Cordier, and later passed to his sonGeorges Cordier, the second-generation owner.

Passionate about white wines, Georges Cordier was among the first to replant white vines in the Mdoc, creating Caillou Blanc and making Chteau Talbot one of the rare classified growths to produce both red and white wines. Predominantly Sauvignon Blanc with a touch of Smillon, Caillou Blanc embodies an aromatic, lively, and elegant style, offering a distinctive expression of Chteau Talbot.

A very concentrated white thats reductively flinty and powerful, showing aromas of citrus fruit, pralines and pastry with touches of white sesame seeds, toast, smoke, lemons and custard. Full-bodied and concentrated on the palate, with intense flavors and a long, compressed finish. Hints of wood spices and phenolic bitterness at the end. Give it one more year to integrate.
