Nestled amongst the rolling hills of the Cotswolds countryside, the Cotswolds Distillery was born in 2014. The founder, Dan,a native New Yorker and whisky connoisseur, had moved to the Cotswolds from London. He saw the fields of golden barley around his house and had a brainwave theres barley all over the Cotswolds and nobodys distilling it, lets be the first!
100% locally grown, floor-malted barleyand being distilled twice in the bespoke copper pot stills.
Sherry Cask Single Malt Whisky is a marriage of carefully selected and blended sherry casks. Each yearly batch is unique, drawn fromthe finest American and Spanish oak hogsheads and butts, some of which have been seasoned with dry Oloroso sherry and others with sweet Pedro Ximnez. All have been sherry-aged through their full maturation for a deeper and more flavourful whisky.

Tasting Notes:
Brown sugar and cherry pie with a touch of roasted coffee beans greet the nose. To taste, viscous and rich mouthfeel with dark stone fruit, chocolate and a hint of roasted almonds. The finish is full of peppery oak spice and dried fruit.
