Brewed by Deschutes with real peanut butter and milk sugar to give it the much lovedcreamy Jiff flavour. To add complexity, power, vanilla tannins, and spice, they also mixed in a whisky barrel-aged stout in addition to the Dessert stout component. What better delivery method than a traditional American Stout for peanut butter and whisky, which are now essentially quintessential Americana staples. The final brew has much more punch than the original Obsidian; it clocks inat over9%ABV and 40 IBUs.
