Finger Lakes Distilling, McKenzie Single Barrel Rye, Seneca Lake, 750ml
A very aromatic whiskey dominated by aromas of spearmint, cinnamon, and spiced fruit cake. The palate shows a medium weight with an oily richness, a spiciness, and even a mild sweetness. Overall, this rye exhibits greater complexity and a more complete profile than one usually expects from the rye category. Andrew Converse, Assistant Manager, Triphammer Wines and Spirits. Age: 3 years, 3 months
