This wine is matured in 79% new French oak barrels for 20 months, resulting in an opaque ruby-black color. The nose reveals seductive aromas of peppermint, violet, tar, coffee bean, and undergrowth, complemented by a deep heart of blackcurrant. On the palate, it features powdery tannins alongside latent notes of game, wildflowers, and tea leaves that linger on the finish. This wine promises excellent potential for long cellaring.
