Hazelburn takes its name from one of Campbeltowns lost distilleries, which operated between around 1825 and 1925. In 1997 Hazelburn was produced by Springbank Distillery that is known for being triple distilled and unpeated,resulting in a spirit that is creamy, delicate and light.

Hazelburn 10 Year Oldis the flagship single malt in the Hazelburn Range. It is matured 100% in Bourbon casks and bottled at 46% ABV.

Tasting Notes:
Aroma:
Sweet and tropical on the nose, notes of baked pineapple, lemon sherbert, honeycomb and dried orange peel introduce this light and delicate dram.

Palate:
Sweet and savoury notes come together on the palate, with notes of green apples complemented by a slight vegetal quality. There is a creaminess present in notes of pastel de nata and custard creams.

Finish:
There is a subtle earthiness in the finish, with hints of salted caramel, ginger, toasted coconut and a mineral note.
