Humilitat is a wine from the Priorat featuring its best expression of terroir, minerality and preserve its freshness which often is missing in this region. For this, we have selected vineyards on steep terraces sheltered from the scorching sun yet sufficiently exposed to reach optimal maturity.

Vinification:
The berries are collected in crates of 10kg capacity. Cool down to 6C to allow a cold maceration for several days. Fermentation takes place at 24C-26C and extraction method is applied by a combination of pumping over and punching-down.

Tasting notes:

(60% garnacha and 40% syrah, aged in stainless steel and oak): Glass-staining ruby. Pungent aromas of dark berries, cherry skin and Indian spices, with a sexy potpourri quality that gains strength with air. Juicy, penetrating cherry and black raspberry flavors are complicated by zesty acidity and pick up a cola nuance on the back half. Finishes with supple tannins, very good clarity and a lingering floral note.
