Their cascading system of Spanish Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso casks provide a luxurious finish to the Apera cask matured single malt, ensuring the consistency of this whisky for years to come.
Layers upon layers of all the decadent notes that make a sherried whisky so wonderful.
The nose delivers lashings of freshly made almond nougat mixed with juicy currants, thanks to the time spent finishing in ex Oloroso casks.
All while the richness of Pedro Ximenez sherry coats the palate with browned butter, toffee apple and a waxy walnut finish.
Grilled summer peaches, a note we strive for in our new make spirit, rounds out this whisky with sweet complexity.
Heritage is steeped in the stories of our estate.
The craftsmanship and commitment that has been placed into the making of Heritage has resulted in an exceptionally rich and unique Tasmanian single malt whisky that is sure to captivate the tastes of many whisky enthusiasts.
