The concentrated palate of Leeuwin Estate Prelude Chardonnay 2023 boasts a harmonious blend of gentle layers, textures, and contours. Notes of finger limes, peach flesh, nashi pear, and lemon curd are tightly woven together with laced minerality, saline accents, and iodine. This creates a subtle tension and focused finish that showcases the expertise and precision of this wine.

Its the best Prelude I can remember tasting, Ill say that much straight off. A little struck match, very spicy (some pepper and cinnamon), bright citrus and green pear, hazelnut, fine flinty grip, with a cool finish of excellent length. Fine-boned, but delivers just enough flavour. I was so taken by its balance and charm. Superb drinking.
