We can’t tell you the name of the chteau behind this secret claret, but we can share that its the flagship cuve of a top-performing Right Bank estate, declassified to a humble Bordeaux. Its a wine lavished with care from start to finish with low yields, hand-sorting at the chteau, and ageing in the finest new French oak barrels. The 2023 reveals classic aromas of ripe plum, cassis and redcurrants with earthy spice and oak notes. Delicious now but will also age well if you can resist the temptation.
