According to the earliest references,ShaoxingNu’er Hong appeared inJin Dynasty(AD 266420).In ancient Shaoxing, when a daughter was born in a wealthy family, her parents would carve beautiful potteries of Huadiao (yellow wine) and bury them in the ground. When the daughter got married, they would take the wine out and enjoy happily with the guests.
Nu’er Hong contains large amount of essential amino acid andvitamins. Moderate drinking leads to health benefits and a longer life.
