Selected by our Whiskey Club Members in a blind tasting. This barrel was chosen from 9 different barrels ranging from 10 to 11 years old. Our selection is 10 years old at 112pf cask strength with a mash bill 60 corn/36 rye/4 barley. Barrel #50 with 48 bottles available.

Aroma: Starts with aromas of banana pudding, Nilla Wafers(remember those from the 80s?),subtle hintsof vanilla, butterscotch,andfresh cut grass. Silky milk chocolatethen presents itself along withraisin bread,as itends withtobacco and awhiff of cedar.

Taste: Theres asubtle, soft, and smooth mouth feel, which is accompanied by the flavor of spearmint and a very slight coolingheat spike towards the front of the tongue.There is no realheat-oriented spiciness.Followed by richness throughout with thecreaminess and slight sweetness of a cashew.

Finish:The cooling heat of the spearminttransitions to eucalyptus and eventually builds to be noticeable,asyou feel itjust behind the lips and a little at the tip of the tongue.
