Penelope Valencia Bourbon is a unique, citrus-forward expression from Penelope Bourbon that showcases the innovative spirit of modern American whiskey. This 750ml bottle features bourbon finished in Valencia orange wine casks, creating a distinctive flavor profile that balances classic bourbon character with bright citrus notes and subtle wine influence.

Crafted with Penelope’s signature four-grain bourbon recipe and finished in casks that previously held Valencia orange wine, this expression develops layers of complexity that set it apart from traditional bourbon. The orange wine cask finishing adds aromatic citrus, subtle tannins, and a unique character that complements the bourbon’s natural sweetness and spice, creating a whiskey that’s both familiar and excitingly different.

Tasting Notes:
Amber color with aromas of caramel, vanilla, orange zest, and subtle spice. The palate is smooth and complex, featuring bourbon sweetness, bright orange notes, hints of honey, baking spices, and gentle oak with subtle wine tannins. The finish is long and elegant, with lingering citrus, vanilla, and warming spice.

Perfect for:
Sipping neat or on the rocks to appreciate the unique citrus-forward character, or use in elevated bourbon cocktails like an Old Fashioned or Manhattan where the orange notes add an extra dimension of complexity.
