The history of Ruinart ros, the very first ros champagne to make its appearance, dates back to the 18th century. While Ruinart ros champagne first appeared over 250 years ago, its excellent quality remains the essential feature of the production of this delicate wine to this day.

The wine is a sublime golden pink in colour, a subtle nose of cherry and freshly-picked red berries leads to a fleshy and delightfully smooth finish.

Only Premier and Grand Cru sites supply the grapes for this excellent ros, which is made up of 45 percent Chardonnay and 55 percent Pinot Noir, with 18 percent of the latter added as red wine. A subtle nose of rose hip, spice and wild strawberry; on the palate the wine marries exuberant fruit with a richly velvety texture.
