Tomatin classic style is unpeated,light, soft and fruity that showcases the softer side of the Highlands.The late, great whisky writer Michael Jackson described their softer malty, spicy and rich style as either restorative or for after dinner.
The distillery traditionally sold the vast majorityof its whisky to third-party blenders, since 2002 the distillerys main focus has been on producing premium single malt.
The Tomatin 14-Year-Old is soft, smooth and sweet. The initial 12 years maturing and mellowing in refill American oak ex-bourbon casks, and the final 2 yearsspent in Tawny Port casks which previously held port for around 50 years.
