We, the wine-makers from Bessa Valley, are inspired by this place as much as the Bessians were 2500 years ago.Now we are the Bessians! It is our destiny to grow the vines of the Valley and make great wine from their fruit year after year. Everything is done with the greatest respect for the nature, the people, the vines and its fruit. We are not in a hurry. We are not losing the harmony.

Vinification:
The grapes are hand-picked, then carefully selected on sorting tables. Cold maceration of whole berries is performed from 3 to 5 days at 10-12 C in order to extract color and aromas. Alcohol fermentation with addition of selected yeast strains is controlled at 24-26 C during 5-10 days. After malolactic fermentation, ageing in French oak barrels 20% two-years/ 80% three-years old for one year.

Tasting Notes:
Deep ruby color fascinates at first. Intense, typical varietal aromas form superb sensations from black cherry, black current, baking spice and cinnamon. Medium body, nice acidity, silk tanninsmake taste soft and sappy. The after taste is fruity with medium length.
