Campbeltown’s Peated Soul

Longrow is the heavily peated expression from Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown one of Scotland’s most storied and independent whisky regions. While Springbank is celebrated for its unpeated and lightly peated styles, Longrow is its bold, smoky counterpart: double distilled using heavily peated malt, and matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks to build layers of complexity beneath the smoke. This is Campbeltown peat earthier, more maritime, and more nuanced than Islay, with a character entirely its own.

• Nose: Billowing peat smoke, sea salt, and damp earth with an undercurrent of vanilla sweetness and dried fruit
• Palate: Full-bodied and richly smoky charred oak, dark chocolate, brine, and a warming spice that builds steadily through the peat
• Finish: Long, lingering, and deeply smoky with coastal salinity, dried fruit, and a clean, peaty warmth that fades slowly
