Founded in 2011, Brick & Mortar is a small production winery that focuses on single-vineyard Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah from select high-elevation vineyards. Led by winemaker Matt Iconis, they craft wines with Old World elegance while staying true to their home terroir. Brick & Mortar is a rising star on the California wine scene. Its food-friendly and has aromas of lemon blossom, green apple and juicy pear. On the palate there are flavors of yellow apple, bright citrus, ripe pear, white flowers, white peach, sweet cinnamon, river rock and hints of flint. This coastal Chardonnay is energetic with tangerine-lime acidity and lovely tension. Its beautiful in its youth and will age gracefully and improve for another 5+ years. Enjoy!
