“The 2022 Chardonnay White Hill is another stellar wine from Liquid Farm. Rich and effusive, with terrific aromatic brightness, the 2022 is so expressive. White flowers, chalk, mint and tangerine oil give this nuanced Chardonnay gorgeous aromatic brightness. Light tropical notes reappear on the exotic finish.”

“Brought up all in neutral oak, the 2022 Chardonnay White Hill offers a medium gold hue to go with ripe orchard fruits, honeyed orange, and spicy, subtle savory and marine-like nuances. It’s balanced, medium-bodied, and has a round, layered mouthfeel and a great finish.”

Wine Advocate, 91 Points

“The 2022 Chardonnay White Hill spent eight months in neutral wood and two months in stainless steel before bottling. A snappy, flinty nose of crushed stones and citrus curd introduces a silky, bright palate that straddles zesty energy and soft, luscious texture. It finishes on a crisp, clean note flanked by a subtle, pleasant creaminess.”

Winemaker Notes:

“This wine has great tension, mouthfeel, and focus. Notes of lemon, oyster-shell, and river rocks on both the nose and palate. This wine will continue to soften with age, but for those looking for an austere style of Chardonnay this will certainly not dissapoint.”
