The Chteau was founded by Hubert de Board de Laforest, the co-owner of famed Chteau Anglus. He recognised therich potential of Lalande-de-Pomerol terroirs, that located on the right bank of Bordeaux and not far from Saint Emilion. The La Fleur de Board vineyard combines the magic of land, vines and sky. Also, theBoard famiily has a rich heritage of viticulture,with great technical and oenological know-how. Under the management of the eldest daughter, Carolie, the winery adopt a new, environmentally friendly approach. That makesLa Fleur de Board an outstanding and sustainable wine.

Vinification:
Preferment maceration at 8-10C. Alcoholic fermentation of maceration of 3 to 5 weeks. Malolactic fermentation in barrels

Ageing:
18 to 24 months, no fining, no filtering, 75% to 80% new barrels.

The 2012 Fleur de Board offers up copious quantities of dark raspberry, blueberries and spring flowers. It has soft velvety tannins, medium to full body, and a very sexy, lush mouthfeel. This is a gorgeous opaque, ruby/purple Lalande de Pomerol that no one will be able to resist.
