The largest and most famous Pouilly-Fum vineyards have been in the hands of the Comte Lafond and Ladoucette families since 1787. This Grande Cuve of Pouilly-Fum is produced exclusively in the best years and from the first pressing of the estates grapes. Matured on lees for up to 6 months.
Since the late 18th Century, the family of Comte Lafond has owned the largest and most famous vineyards in the Pouilly region, known as the Chteau du Nozet. This 165 hectare estate produces 10% of the entire Pouilly Fum appellation.
