The Mura family, owner of Bodegas Muriel in Elciego (Rioja Alavesa) purchased in 2010 some of the assets of Marqus de Arienzo in Rioja. The sale package included the winery, located at a stone’s throw from Muriel’s facilities, as well as all of its wine and the brand Via Egua, whose image and style have been completely revamped. Vineyard altitude between 350 and 550 meters. Clay-limestone, iron-clay, and alluvial soils. Made with grapes from vines with an average age of 25 years.

Tasting Notes: Light yellow colour with greenish highlights. On the nose: aromas of citrus fruits, with notes of white flowers and tropical hints (mango, pineapple). On the palate, fresh and structured. Pleasant acidity. Areally great wine to introduce you to Rioja.
